HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

About this opportunity

At Lloyds Banking Group, we’re moving to the next stages of our digital transformation, and it’s our job within the Chief Security Office (CSO) to ensure that we keep our customers, colleagues and assets safe from threat.

We are transforming how we evidence compliance monitoring across critical regulatory regimes including SOXSWIFTSOC2, and CERT for the Group. As our new Lead Technical Application Specialist, you will be at the forefront of this transformation—driving technical excellence, operational rigour, and audit-readiness across for our new compliance monitoring solution. This is a newly created role within CSO’s Security Data Services Lab, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of compliance monitoring technology in a high-impact, high-visibility environment.

What you’ll do

  • Configuration & Integration Leadership
    Own and lead the configuration and integration of monitoring requirements across our in-scope regulations, ensuring seamless interoperability across our Compliance monitoring platform and data sources.

  • Technical Delivery
    Drive end-to-end technical delivery of compliance solutions, from requirements gathering to deployment, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and automation.

  • Technical Operations
    Oversee the operational health of our compliance service, working with our SRE function to ensure uptime, performance, and proactive issue resolution.

  • Audit & Evidence Delivery
    Lead the technical response to audit requirements, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete evidence generation across SOX, SWIFT, SOC2, CERT and other regimes.

  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
    Inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers, working closely with stakeholders across Security, Risk, Audit, and Data Engineering.

What you’ll need:

  • Demonstrable experience in technical leadership roles within compliance, security, or enterprise IT environments.

  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks such as SOX, SWIFT, SOC2, CERT.

  • Strong hands-on experience with application configuration, systems integration, and technical operations.

  • Familiarity with audit processes and evidence management.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • A passion for innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.

It would be great if you also had

  • Understanding of how to leverage AI within security monitoring technologies
