As a Sourcing manager you'll take the lead and provide support for various sourcing related activities that are specific to the People & HR Services Sourcing category! This role predominantly supports People & Places (P&P), although the Team occasionally gains exposure to other areas of the group as well.

You'll be working with Stakeholders to source new 3rd party solutions for a range of services as well as optimising, renegotiating or re-tendering services provided by existing suppliers. Within this team, the services cover a variety of activities including Permanent Resourcing, Health & Wellbeing, Reward & Recognition, Learning, Leadership & Development, and outsourced Operations.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in sourcing services which have an important impact both on our Colleagues and their families. Each week will be different in this role, and it is a great opportunity to learn more about our wider business as we communicate with business leads across the entirety of P&P. It is also very exciting, as our internal customers look to the People & HR Services Sourcing Team to bring not only their sourcing expertise, but a perspective on the optimising of solutions and performance measures.

We actively encourage and support personal development to enable each member of the Team to become a trusted adviser, providing the business with an end-to-end Sourcing service.

Responsibilities:

  • You'll contribute to the development of category strategies, delivering specific initiatives to drive the effective supply of services to LBG and management of the cost base

  • You’ll supervise initiatives with Stakeholders that drive effective spend management through demand management, simplifying specifications and achieving great business outcomes

  • You’ll work collaboratively with Colleagues, internal partners and third-party suppliers to optimally run all aspects of the sourcing lifecycle ensuring the best value in support of LBG’s strategic vision

  • You’ll lead or support Sourcing activities across the category and create market competition to generate the best possible commercial outcomes as well as bringing innovation to the business

  • You’ll develop strong working relationships across senior stakeholder communities
