JOB TITLE: Senior Manager Statistical Reporting

SALARY: as per pay range

LOCATION(S): Edinburgh Princes Exchange

HOURS: Full time 35 hours

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least

two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

About this Opportunity

In your new role in the Statistical Reporting team, you will be supporting the drive to enhance and transform our statistical reporting systems and processes, whilst ensuring alignment to our control framework. You will support the design and implementation of the target state operating model, including documenting business requirements, and supporting teams in understanding the requirements and their linkages to the overall data strategy and roadmap. We will also look to you to build, manage, and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders and data suppliers across multiple franchises and functions. You’ll lead 2 direct reports and collaborate closely across the wider team of 19 to lead and implement change.

Day to day responsibilities

  • Drive Delivery at Pace: Implement processes that break down work for faster, incremental value delivery. Apply a problem-solving mindset and challenge existing practices.

  • Foster Innovation: Promote use of technology and innovation to streamline processes. Identify opportunities to reinvest time for greater impact and support change adoption.

  • Ensure Governance & Risk Management: adhere to the Financial Control Framework. Proactively raise and resolve risks and issues, taking ownership to mitigate impacts.

  • Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with the Platform and other teams to integrate statistical reporting processes with broader change initiatives.

What you’ll need

  • Strong technical proficiency: Technical skills in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and solve problems.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills; effective at building relationships across all levels.

  • Attention to Detail: Committed to accuracy and thoroughness in financial reporting.

  • Proactivity & Growth: Self-motivated, organised, and eager to drive improvement and learn new skills.
