About this opportunity

We’re offering an exciting opportunity to lead a growing and evolving team focused on high-potential Business Banking clients within BCB. With recent investment into the proposition, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping its future and driving growth.

As Team Leader, you’ll lead a team of Specialist Business Managers, guiding them through complex client conversations to rebuild trust, understand ambitions, and deliver tailored support. You’ll play a key role in integrating a growing operating model, extending the entire bank to our clients while upholding robust risk discipline.

This is your chance to make a real impact—developing people, driving performance, and helping shape the future of Business Banking.

Day to Day you’ll:

  • Foster a strong coaching culture to empower colleagues, enhance performance, and deliver excellent client experiences while driving income, balance sheet growth, and risk management.
  • Use insight tools to support high-quality coaching, feedback, and Balanced Scorecard reviews, building capability through the Your Best framework.
  • Own and evaluate team performance against business objectives, recognising achievements and addressing performance gaps.
  • Actively contribute to proposition development by testing new ways of working and representing the business in working groups.
  • Provide leadership and oversight in structuring client proposals, helping colleagues find opportunities for income and franchise growth.
  • Champion strong risk behaviours across the team and with key partners.

Why Lloyds Banking Group?

We’re on an exciting journey and there couldn’t be a better time to join us. The investments we’re making in our people, data, and technology are leading to innovative projects, fresh possibilities, and countless new ways for our people to work, learn, and thrive.

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience as a team leader, with a track record of successfully managing a team in either a financial services or sales contact centre environment.
  • Outstanding performance management skills with the ability to develop the skills and capabilities of a diverse, engaged workforce.
  • Self-starter who actively invests in personal growth and supports others’ development with a continuous improvement approach aimed at improving client and colleague experience.
  • Skilled in building strong relationships with key partner areas.

And it’s why we especially welcome applications from under-represented groups. We’re disability confident. So if you’d like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know.

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:

  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
