About this opportunity

We’re at a pivotal moment in Business Banking (BB) Relationships, and we’re looking for a Development Manager to help shape what comes next. Since launching in July 2024 to provide proactive support to BB clients, the team has gone from strength to strength—and now we’re expanding our reach to support all clients with turnover above £1 million. This is your chance to play a leading role in a fast-growing, high-impact team that’s central to Commercial Banking Coverage (CBC) in BCB. Reporting directly to the Head of BB Relationships, you’ll be part of the leadership team driving performance, designing cross-functional product campaigns, and using data-led insight to evolve our relationship model and deliver on our ambition to be the best bank for businesses. .

What you'll do:

  • Define, own, and implement strategies to identify key client opportunities through collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a data led approach – including product campaigns.
  • Lead the planning, strategic development, and delivery of initiatives to drive and enhance client relationships.
  • Support the team in achieving key priorities, which are focused on professionalising the channel, supporting clients, and creating capacity.
  • Support with our internal and external communication strategy. Creating impactful presentations and business cases to effectively engage individuals at all levels.
  • Work with key partners across BCB and the wider Group.

Why Lloyds Banking Group?

We’re on an exciting journey and there couldn’t be a better time to join us. The investments we’re making in our people, data, and technology are leading to innovative projects, fresh possibilities, and countless new ways for our people to work, learn, and thrive.

What we need from you:

  • Previous financial services experience and a genuine passion for empowering small businesses to thrive.
  • Confident in forging strong connections with customers and partners, creating trust and collaboration that gets results.
  • Skilled in turning data into action, using Excel to uncover trends and translate insights into clear, strategic decisions.
  • Articulate and persuasive across written and verbal formats, tailoring messages to resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Organised, proactive, and adaptable—thriving in fast-paced environments while balancing short-term priorities with long-term goals.
