JOB TITLE:Senior Product Owner  

SALARY: £76,000pa to £106,400pa (dependent on location and relevant experience) plus an extensive benefits package. 

LOCATION: Bristol or London 

HOURS: 35 hours, full time. 

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at one of the above listed hubs.

About this opportunity 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as a senior Product Owner right at the pivotal time during our Platform transformation. Our mission is to lead and develop the personalisation strategy driving forward the transformation to provide self-serving capabilities, tech, and infrastructure for how we can engage with customers.  Personalised Experiences and Communications (PEC) platform sits within the Consumer Relationships BU and plays a substantial role in supporting the achievement of the Group Personalisation strategy to be more relevant for customers.  The Experience Systems Lab (in PEC) is looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead the Content Planning and Measurement product that forms part of the content supply chain that brings to life our personalised customer communications for the group.

Your accountabilities will include:

  • Supporting development of Team OKRs and provides product performance and benefits realisation data. 

  • Defining user-stories at Team level to meet customer needs. 

  • Working with Customer Journey Manager to analyse user stories for customer journey improvement. 

  • Providing input into overall Product vision and Product roadmap. 

  • Prioritising, refining and managing Team Product backlog. 

  • Accountable for Product change governance (e.g., CMIA / SPFIA) and business Readiness activities (e.g., training and comms, testing and readiness for implementation) for their respective features, journeys or technology components. Note: POs are accountable but activities to be delivered by the whole ‘team’. 

  • Investigating incidents and developing contingency plan accountabilities. 

  • Implementing development frameworks for your area and coaching and mentoring others in the organisation. 

  • Working with Integrators when change is particularly large. 

About you  

You bring deep expertise as a product owner, leading the evolution of martech or communications ecosystems. and ensuring seamless collaboration and automation across teams.

Your experience includes:    

  • AgenticAI – We’re on a mission to step change how we run our content supply chain and you’ll have demonstratable experience in implementing AgenticAI to optimise and automate supply chains. 

  • GenerativeAI – You have demonstrable experience of being a product owner, leading multiple software development teams implementing GenerativeAI in content supply chains/martech systems or similar. 

  • Agile delivery and product ownership – You have demonstrable years experience of being a senior product owner/leader, leading multiple software development teams, managing and coaching your teams and being accountable for owning & managing the teams backlog and delivering products with an iterative, agile approach.  

  • Content supply chain leadership – Experienced in building and configuring supply chains at large and complex organisations. 

  • Data & Experimentation – Proven track record of using data-driven experimentation to improve your products and system usability.  

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Strong in fostering partnerships between designers, engineers, product owners and senior business leaders to enhance your products.  

  • Governance & Compliance – Expertise in setting governance models, ensuring alignment with accessibility standards, security policies, and operational best practices.  

  • End-User Training & Adoption – Passionate about educating teams, driving adoption, and ensuring optimal use of design tooling across teams.
