  • Lead negotiations and structure partnership agreements that deliver mutual value and long-term strategic alignment

Commercial Execution

  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Coverage teams to integrate partner capabilities into client propositions
  • Leverage understanding of ERP, TMS, and treasury operations to design solutions that integrate seamlessly into client environments
  • Drive joint go-to-market initiatives and co-innovation programs to accelerate revenue growth and client acquisition
  • Monitor and report on partnership performance, critical metrics, and commercial impact

Innovation & Market Engagement

  • Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to transaction banking
  • Represent the bank in industry forums, consortiums, and innovation networks across the UK and Europe
  • Champion a culture of innovation and external collaboration within the Transaction Banking team

Governance & Risk Oversight

  • Ensure all partnerships align with legal, regulatory, and operational standards
  • Work closely with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams to manage partnership risks and integration challenges

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Product, Technology, Coverage, and Executive Leadership
  • Act as a senior ambassador for the Transaction Banking business in external engagements

What you’ll need

  • Significant, demonstrable experience in transaction banking, corporate banking, or fintech, with a strong understanding of cash, trade, and digital banking products
  • Proven track record in developing and managing strategic partnerships or alliances, ideally within the UK and European markets
  • Demonstrated success in driving innovation and delivering client-centric solutions through partnerships
  • Deep understanding of the fintech industry, including trends, players, and partnership models
  • Experience building and managing strategic relationships with third parties, especially fintechs
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Treasury Management Systems (TMS), and corporate treasury operations
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with digital platforms, APIs, embedded finance, and open banking frameworks is highly desirable
