About this opportunity:

Step into a role where integrity meets impact. As a Conduct Controls Execution Manager in the Insurance Pensions & Investments (IP&I) Chief Controls Office, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping ethical behaviour, regulatory compliance, and control excellence across our business.

At the heart of the IP&I CCO is a mission to set the highest standards for control execution. As a Conduct Controls Execution Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering and embedding conduct-related control activities across the IP&I Business. You'll be responsible for managing core conduct processes, supporting regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong culture of ethical behaviour and accountability

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the execution of conduct-related control activities, ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

  • Act as the business champion for the Speak Up / Whistleblowing programme, promoting awareness and supporting a safe reporting environment.

  • Manage the Personal Account Dealing (PAD) process, ensuring timely reviews, approvals, and escalations where necessary.

  • Coordinate People Risk activities, including monitoring, reporting, and supporting mitigation plans.

  • Support the annual review and coordination of Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR) and Material Risk Taker (MRT) responsibilities.

  • Oversee the Gifts, Entertainment and Hospitality (GEH) process, ensuring compliance with policy and appropriate governance.

  • Monitor and report on colleague conduct trends, raising concerns and supporting remediation where required.

  • Maintain and update the Conflicts of Interest register, ensuring accurate and timely disclosures.

What you'll need:

  • Strong understanding of conduct risk, regulatory frameworks (e.g. SMCR, Consumer Duty), and internal control environments.

  • Experience managing conduct-related processes and controls within a financial services or regulated environment.

  • Excellent organisational and partner engagement skills, with the ability to influence across functions.

  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk identification and issue resolution.
