HOURS:  Full time 

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Bristol office location 

About this opportunity

The Senior Technical Integrator plays a pivotal role in the transformation of the Personalised Experiences and Communications (PEC) platform, part of the Consumer Relationships Business Unit. This role is central to delivering the Group’s personalisation strategy and unlocking the full potential of cloud technologies and data-driven customer experiences.

You will be embedded within a multi-disciplinary product engineering team, coordinating complex technical and business change across labs, platforms, and external stakeholders. This is a high-impact role requiring strategic thinking, technical depth, and agile delivery expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integration Leadership: Coordinate dependencies between the Lab and external stakeholders (other labs, platforms, Group Executive Functions, and third parties), ensuring seamless delivery of change.

  • Delivery Enablement: Identify and resolve blockers, escalate critical issues, and ensure safe delivery of high-risk implementations across shared infrastructure.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and manage integration roadmaps aligned to Lab backlogs and platform priorities.

  • Governance & Assurance: Lead governance activities across multiple labs, including PRIA and other assurance processes.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the interface between suppliers and business stakeholders, influencing and aligning technical decisions across the organisation.

  • Operational Risk Awareness: Apply knowledge of SRE principles and operational risk management to ensure resilient and scalable solutions.

  • Agile Coaching: Support agile ways of working, helping teams adopt best practices and tools for iterative delivery.

What you’ll need: 

  • Extensive experience in technical delivery roles, with at considerable amount of this time in integration roles.

  • Cloud Expertise: Proven experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP or Azure), including orchestration, infrastructure integration, and cloud-native services.

  • Data Skills: Strong understanding of data engineering, data pipelines, and analytics enablement. Familiarity with tools like Composer, Dataproc, Kafka, and BigQuery is advantageous.

  • Agile Delivery: Deep knowledge of agile methodologies and tools, with experience in managing complex change in regulated environments.

  • Communication & Influence: Ability to build consensus across technical and business stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and drive strategic outcomes.

  • Problem Solving: Skilled in balancing delivery risks with mitigations, prioritising activities, and coordinating across multiple teams.

  • Growth Mindset: Demonstrates continuous learning, adaptability, and a proactive approach to upskilling

  • Challenges existing processes to drive faster delivery.

  • Builds rapport and inspires commitment through strong personal identity.
