  • Support the development and implementation of the control strategy, so everyone clearly understands how the control environment is designed and how it works.

  • Find ways to innovatively improve our methods and control tools and work together with Platform teams to improve controls including increasing the level of automation.

  • Lead and manage timely reporting on how well our controls are operating by keeping data quality (KCIs) accurate and complete. Use all available data insights to spot issues and take action to fix them as needed.

  • Take the lead on handling issues and events and coordinate plans to fix high-priority actions and audit findings.

  • Adept at making well-informed and timely decisions that keep the organisation moving forward. Skilfully balances difficult trade-offs and effectively problem-solves by understanding and assimilating various data sources and complex information to draw relevant conclusions and make sound recommendations.

  • Collaborates with leaders to identify long-term strategic opportunities and challenges, ensuring the prioritisation of actions that align with and achieve agreed-upon objectives and outcomes.

  • Proficient in working effectively with all other lines of defence and understands the different but complimentary roles.

  • Works closely with Platform teams to integrate technical control capabilities, ensuring that controls are designed and automated from the start.
