JOB TITLE: Digital Comparison Tools Channel Manager (Open)

LOCATION(S): Chester

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time at an office hub mentioned above.

About this opportunity

At Lloyds Banking Group, our purpose is clear: Helping Britain Prosper. We’re proud to support millions of households and businesses across the UK through our trusted brands. Now, we’re looking for a Channel Manager to join our Digital Comparison Tools (DCT) team and help us shape the future of customer acquisition.

As Channel Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our DCT strategy—driving performance, managing partnerships, and ensuring our products are presented compliantly and effectively. You’ll work cross-functionally to deliver insights, manage risks, and unlock new opportunities.

About us

Join us and, as well as making a difference to customers, you’ll enjoy a fulfilling career where you’re free to be yourself. Great colleagues, transforming workspaces, hybrid working and a wide variety of career opportunities – you’ll find them all here.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies across brand, product, pricing, and participation to drive growth and defend our market position.

  • Partnership Management: Lead day-to-day partner relationships, including contract negotiations, performance reviews, and delivery of commercial outcomes.

  • Performance & Insight: Monitor and analyse performance data to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for optimisation. Collaborate with MI teams to produce actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the implementation of new capabilities, manage product changes, and ensure compliance with governance and control frameworks.

  • Market Intelligence: Use third-party data and internal analytics to inform strategic direction and identify new sources of value.

  • Project Delivery: Lead and support the end-to-end delivery of initiatives that enhance our propositions and customer experience.

  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure all activity aligns with regulatory requirements and internal audit standards, maintaining a high standard of due diligence.

Skills we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in partnership or channel management, ideally within financial services or digital marketplaces.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering value through strategic partnerships.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.

  • Comfortable working across a matrixed organisation and managing multiple priorities.

  • Experience with product launches, performance tracking, and governance frameworks.

About working for us

Our focus is to ensure we're inclusive every day, building an organization that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms.

We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of background, identity or culture.

We were one of the first major organizations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer initiative.

And it’s why we especially welcome applications from under-represented groups.

We’re disability confident. So if you’d like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know.

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:

  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%

  • An annual performance-related bonus

  • Share schemes including free shares

  • Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping

  • 30 days holiday, with bank holidays on top

  • A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies
