Job description

The Role: 

  • Setting lab goals and sharing product performance and benefits data – You’ll define outcomes and metrics like adoption, evaluation, satisfaction, SLAs, and SLOs. 

  • Defining user-stories to meet customer needs – Understanding the issues, requirements, and processes of developer users and end customers to craft user-stories to fulfil their needs. 

  • Working closely with engineers and architects to devise the technical plan for the product: Define different possibilities and form perspectives on fundamental functionalities for environments, runtime, agent frameworks, tools, incident handling, visibility, assessment, telemetry, security, orchestration, and diverse modes. You’ll be the voice of the customer. 

  • Engaging with Customer Journey Managers to review user stories for optimising customer journeys. Facilitate and participate in interviews and walkthroughs with developers and end-customers, while also keeping a 'User Obstacles to Address' framework with quotes and telemetry support. 

  • Research product ideas, identify risky assumptions, run lean experiments, articulate vision, contribute to roadmap. 

  • Prioritise and refine a discovery-informed product backlog by translating inputs into testable opportunities. 

  • Communicating clearly: You’ll publish short, evidence-led updates. 

What great looks like: 

  • You can explain how the platform turns technical primitives into secure, observable agent workflows any engineer can ship. 

  • Engineers mention that the backlog is concise, transparent, and aligned with user needs; collaborators reference your roadmap. 

  • You spend 30–50% of your time on discovery and it shows in fewer re-work cycles. 

  • You regularly ship features that improves developer activation and end-customer experience. 

What You’ll Need: 

  • AI Agent Technical LiteracyYou’re conversant with LLMs (prompting, grounding, evals, hallucination mitigation etc…), knowledge of Agent Frameworks (ADK, Langraph, Langchain, CrewAI etc..), and agent infrastructure options (GCP, MS and open-source options). 

  • Experience in Product Delivery - You have guided improvements to AI Agent products through agile methods and influenced the course for AI Agent development teams that work across functions. 

  • Customer Centricity – You can demonstrate you prioritise value of customer outcomes with team and peers and ensures work efforts achieve these. You have a track record of anticipating customers’ needs and using customer input and steer backlog opportunities. 

  • Product Leadership – You have embraced ownership of a backlog with the support of multiple teams. You have successfully implemented advanced technical changes for AI and Agent products. You have guided initiatives across the relevant Responsible AI, Data, Risk & Security, Technology, and Sourcing teams.
