Job description

  • JOB TITLE: Workplace Experience Co-ordinator
  • LOCATION(S): Newport
  • SALARY: £29,460
  • HOURS: Full time
  • WORKING PATTERN: This role involves spending up to five days a week, or 100% of your time at one of our office location.

We’re looking for customer centric people, that’ll take ownership of LBG workplace experiences. You’ll need to have passion for customer service and be a workplace role model driving LBG culture within our workplaces.

It’s our goal to ensure our buildings are safe, secure, have a sense of community and are places that colleagues love to work.

What you’ll get from us

  • The chance to be part of an industry leading business area with a great team culture.
  • Exposure to senior leadership across the group and opportunities to grow your network
  • The opportunity to have a real positive impact on the lives of our people

Day to day, you'll:

  • Coordinate the colleague experience at your site, acting as the first point of contact for queries, listening to feedback, and partnering with the Workplace Experience Assistant Manager to ensure the building is safe, secure, and a place colleagues love to work.
  • Maintain safety and security through regular operational checks (fire doors, fire risk assessments, hygiene inspections), reporting findings promptly to the Workplace Experience Assistant Manager.
  • Drive engagement and community by planning and delivering events and communications - both on-site and off-site - including socials, celebrations, and initiatives that support engagement, marketing, and talent attraction. You’ll manage everything from concept to execution.
  • Empower colleagues to make the most of spaces, tech, and tools in line with design standards through onboarding tours and tech showcases, while promoting workplace habits that bring the design to life.
  • Lead local communications, including leader and colleague messaging, incident updates, repair notifications, and digital signage. You’ll run the local Workplace Council and support leadership forums to enhance the overall workplace experience.
  • Keep the office running smoothly - safe, clean, and tidy - by checking meeting room setups, triaging IT issues, removing old equipment, supporting business unit events, restocking supplies, managing DSE equipment, lockers, lost property, and meeting room technology.
  • Support the Atmosphere Squad with events and activities, engaging external suppliers and managing end-to-end delivery. You’ll also create PowerPoint packs showcasing the journey from plan-on-a-page to execution, using impact data and colleague feedback to demonstrate success.

What we're looking for:

  • You love working at Lloyds Banking Group and have a passion for your local workplace.
  • You care about colleagues and want to make a difference to their working day and how they feel about their workplaces.
  • You have good stakeholder management skills and have the ability to build relationships with those around you quickly – understanding needs and putting others at ease.
  • You have an ability to think creatively and facilitate group ideation.
  • You can produce engaging, and clear communications intended for colleagues.

And any experience of these would be really useful:

  • You have existing experience supporting the running of our workplace.
  • You have knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace.
  • You have experience running both large and small-scale events – preferably within Lloyds Banking Group
  • You can show strong evidence of pro-active networking, including engagement with external organisations and events.
  • You think differently to others – Able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial and innovative approach to your role.
  • You have experience listening to colleagues through a variety of methods
