JOB TITLE: Senior Infrastructure Specialist (Active Directory / Entra ID)

SALARY: £70,929 - £80,000 per annum

LOCATION: Leeds

HOURS: Full-time – 35 hours

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Leeds office.

About this opportunity…

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Specialist to join our Modern Workplace Platform in the Cloud and Security Lab, which is pivotal to accelerating the Group’s transformation agenda & adoption of cloud native capabilities.

The Cloud and Security Lab are responsible for support of the Infrastructure Applications aligning to Active Directory the core Microsoft technology components that underpin the Lloyds Banking Group IT infrastructure, primarily production Active Directory (Global) and (Entra ID) Microsoft’s multi-tenant, cloud based Active Directory and Identity Management solution. In addition to providing support and change delivery capabilities for production environments, the Lab also provide equivalent support for the associated development and route-to-live Domain environments.

What you’ll need…

  • Expert level of understanding of Entra ID and Azure Active Directory Hybrid Identity as well as Active Directory / Domain Controllers.

  • Ability to self-manage pieces of work in an Agile fashion – providing timely updates to key Stakeholders.

  • Strong communication skills are a major benefit, requiring the ability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions to a variety of Collaborators with differing technical knowledge.

  • Passionate about customer experience and outcomes driven by technology.

And any experience of these would be really useful…

  • A good understanding of Security & Compliance requirements in regulated environments

  • Experience of Architecture Design notes and Governance

  • Knowledge of other Active Directory / Identity tools such as Quest Change Auditor and Active Roles

  • PowerShell scripting

  • Good All-round understanding of IT Technology particularly in the Windows world as well as becoming specialists in Active Directory Technology

  • Name Resolution via DNS and WINS
